COVID-19 SAFETY

OUR PROTOCOLS

Due to COVID–19 there are strict guidelines surrounding in-person patient visits at this time. Although these measures may seem extreme, they are designed to keep our patients and clinic staff safe and to prevent any further community spread.

We appreciate your understanding
and cooperation.

  • All patients will be required to complete a COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire. This will be done prior to booking your appointment and again on the day of your visit.
  • If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, have travelled outside of Canada, or have had a close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, please refrain from visiting the clinic. Contact us by phone or email and we will be more than happy to reschedule your appointment.
  • Patients will be asked to complete any necessary paperwork prior to their first appointment whenever possible.
  • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment and be dressed in appropriate clothing for examination/treatment purposes.
  • We kindly ask all patients to bring a mask (disposable or cloth) to wear when entering the clinic and for the duration of their appointment.
  • At this time, we can only allow patients into the clinic. Family members or friends will not be permitted. Accommodations will be made for children or patients who require further assistance.
  • Hand sanitizer is located immediately to the right of the door upon entering. We kindly ask that you sanitize your hands upon entering the clinic.
  • Please do not bring any unnecessary items or personal belongings into the clinic, including cell phones, purses, back packs. Please place your keys in your pocket.
  • To ensure appropriate physical distancing, the maximum number of patients in the waiting room is 5. If someone is at the desk upon your arrival, and if all chairs are occupied in the waiting room, we kindly ask that you wait outside until another person exits the clinic.
  • Please use the washroom before coming into the clinic.
  • Once your appointment has ended, your physician or therapist will ensure there is appropriate physical distance in the hallways and reception area in order to escort you back to the main door.
  • If applicable, any payments will be processed via contactless methods (card numbers entered into the system by staff, or “tap” function on payment machine). We request that cash or cheques be avoided if possible.
We would like to thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office and we will be happy to assist you.
